“Try it, Mam!
Few are the deserts that deserve everyone’s approval, like this one does.
Here is a wonderful recipe, easy to prepare and of incomparable taste. To try it all you need is:
3 spoons of Maizena Duryea, 1 1/4 litres of milk, 1/2 cup of pulverized sugar, 5 eggs
You seperate the 5 egg yolks, and mix them with 6 spoons of sugar. Add Maizena Duryea mixed in a little bit of cold milk. Add the rest of the milk and boil it for five minutes in a baim-marie.
Coat a mold with caramel, pour in the mixture and put in the oven on low for half an hour. Take out of the oven, let cool and cover with merengue, prepared on the side with the five egg whites. Place again in the oven until it’s acquired a golden colour.
